Virgin Mobile USA Announces Broadband2Go Novatel MC760 USB modem Offers 3G Nationwide Wireless Internet Service Without Contract

Trying to outstretch the popularity of their prepaid cell phone
services,Virgin Mobile USA have announced Broadband2Go, a 3G data
service that won't need require you to sign an annual contract. However,
this pre-paid 3G Internet access service will require you to buy a
Novatel MC760 USB modem that will access the web via Sprint's EV-DO Rev.
A network.

The Broadband2Go Wireless Internet service is a prepaid mobile broadband
solution for those who don't have the time seeking Wi-Fi hotspots or
cables to get online on their computers.

Extremely durable and compact, the new Novatel MC760 USB modem is
compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux computers. It features a
microSDHC slot for up to 16GB storage, comes with an internal dual-band
diversity antenna, as well as an optional external antenna for enhanced
performance in remote areas.

Data rates start at $10 for the 100MB package (which expires after 30
days from activation), go to $20 for 250MB, $40 for 600MB and $60 for
1GB, while the Novatel MC760 Wireless EVDO Rev. A USB modem which is
only going to be available on Best Buy Mobile starting late June, will
set you back $150.

Not a bad deal afterall, eh?
